Brie Baked In Puff Pastry

The holiday means spending quality time with family. In this video, I will show you how to make an Easy Holiday Appetizer, a Brie En Croute Recipe. We are going to bake brie in a puff pastry.

Brie En Croute Frequently Asked Question:

Do you take the rind off of brie cheese before baking?

A note regarding the rind: I did not cut the rind away before baking. It is completely digestible, and you don't notice it much after your brie is cooked. When I'm consuming brie unbaked, I sometimes cut off the rind merely because I don't take joy in it.

How do you eat brie en croute?

Brush the surface of the brie en croute with egg wash.

Incorporate your favorite jam and nuts.

Wrap the brie en croute in a puff pastry.

Bake: Cook for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden light brown. Cool down and serve: Move brie en croute to a clean work surface or serving tray and allow to cool down for 5-10 minutes. Serve with fruit crackers and artisanal bread.

Can you reheat brie en croute?

Reheating Leftover Brie En Croute.  If you have leftovers, you can loosely wrap it in aluminum foil and heat it in a 350 ° F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until the brie is runny again and the puff pastry is hot.
